So I had been an undergrad student here in Canada for the past four years. Because of family issues and depression, I was not able to complete my program, I still have two semesters of my study left. But I have decided to drop out (maybe for sometime) and pursue a career in aviation. So, I am going to start a new study program at a flight school.
I have applied for a flight training program in Moncton, New Brunswick and I will be starting my studies soon. The problem is, I am really confuse as to whether should I apply for a new study permit or extend my current one. My current study permit is still valid but because my new study program is longer than the time I have left in my current study permit, I will have to extend my stay in Canada.
So should I apply for a new study permit and cancel my current one OR extend it? I really dont know the procedure. I'd be much grateful for any advice.
Thanks
