Apply for CSQ after overstay in US

I'd like to apply for a CSQ but am worried because I recently overstayed my US visa and worked without authorization. Right now I'm back in my country and have enough points and experience without including the time spent in the US.

Is a previous overstay in a different country grounds for denying a CSQ? Should I include my work experience in the application form and a cover letter stating that I don't want that experience counted for assessment points? Should I just leave it off the application?

Thanks for the help.

How long did you overstay in the US?
I think you can apply anyways for CSQ, but in the application you have to describe your work experience in the last five years. Besides that I think you will be fine, they will not ask you for any us visas or so as long as you apply from your home country.

According to a past response from PMM to a similar question, there is no effect on your application. Now, be aware that you have to provide personal information down to every month since the age of 18, any attempt to hide any information at any time can cost you your nomination. Be true and respond all questions whitout holding information.

Good luck.
