Apply for closed work permit while PR application is in process

Hi All,

My closed work permit will expire in April-2017. My PR application is in process and its timeline might exceed the work permit expiry date. Since my company has asked me to submit the work permit extension, I am wondering if there would be any impact on any process.

Many of my friends have applied for extension while their PR application is in Progress.

In your extension document, you have to supply your PR application submission date and application number for one of the question

Have you previously applied to enter or remain in Canada? Mark as 'YES' and Provide your application details.

Please make sure you upload these documents for sure when applying online to work permit - AOR & Initial ITA Acceptance document(This is the doc which you get when they tell you that you are approved to apply or decline EE).

By giving those details in extension would it cause any issue internally in the company or in PR processing?
I have received ITA but i also want company to apply for close WP. My plan is to wait till company apply close WP and then i will go ahead with PR. But just i was informed by my company that it will take another 2 months to submit to CIC. I cant wait till then to apply PR documents, which is why i will be submitting my PR docs soon. Now do you suggest when company asks me for WP documents i should mention my PR details as well?
