Hi everyone!

Enquiring for my boyfriend who is from and currently living in Ireland.
He was previously in Canada on a 2-year Working Holiday visa where it expired in August 2015. Someone once told me that after a certain amount of years, you can apply for another work visa. Is this true? If so, after how many years can one do so?

Thank you

He can participate a second time - but only under the co-op category which requires him to be a student and the co-op in Canada to be a required part of his degree / diploma for completion.

Oh - and to answer your question, he would only qualify for a second working holiday visa if he had participated for 12 months or less before 2013. He participated for 2 years after this period and doesn't qualify under the repeat participation rule (except under the co-op category).
