Apply for Alberta Healthcare - form asks for spouse info but she is Canadian?

I am in Alberta as a visitor and recently found out I can apply for Alberta Healthcare Insurance.

I am filling in the form and it asks for my marital status. I choose spouse and a new page is generated asking for information about my spouse.

However she is Canadian and already has healthcare, so do I need to fill it in as if we both do not have healthcare?

I gave them a call and found out the form I was using was the wrong one. They directed me to this page, http://www.health.alberta.ca/AHCIP/forms.html and we are to use the AdditionL update and/or add a family member form.

With that I need to provide 3 supporting documents

1. Visitor record (or study, work etc)
2. Photographic I.D.
3. Proof of address

FYI: I went to the register office today. I took with me

1. The application forms
2. My visitor record, UK passport and proof of address (the 3 things I was told to bring).
3. I also brought my wife's Canadian passport and my sponsor approval letter.

They asked me for my marriage certificate which I did not bring as I wasn't told to. Luckily I showed them the sponsor approval letter, they took a copy of it and I will have my card in 2 weeks.
