Apply for AEO while LMO is in Process

Hi All,

Can any one through some light on this interesting question.

Can we apply for an AEO while your LMO is already in process for approval from HRSDC? Would these contradict with each other?
Last, roughly how long does it take nowadays to process these two if filed in Ontario.

1. You can, but if iit is the same employer, it is pretty silly. If the LMO is issued (2-12 weeks) once you start work the employer can give you a letter stating that s/he will employ you full time once you are a PR.
2. AEO 6 months.
