I will apply for citizenship next month. My wife and my kids took 2 vacations outside canada ( 3 months and 4 months ) so they will be eligible at the end of this year and because of Bill C-24 they will be eligible at the end of 2016.

I know kids have no minimum physical requirement.
I want to reduce the risk of RQ. Are these two vacations for my kids will affect my application . Is it better to apply alone and apply for my kids along with my wife once she become eligible or apply for my kids along with my application.

Thanks

You can apply for yourself with your kids. During interview, if cic officer asks you why your wife did not apply then you can tell that she was not eligible at the time of application.
If RQ is bound to happen, there is no way to avoid it. Stay positive and best of luck!

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
If the RQ is your concern, there is no practical way to predict whether you going to get it or not.

Travel dream, for sure a tricky situation... Children donot need to meet the residency requirement, however, if you apply with kids, it will most likely be a Q to CO to understand what happened with your kids lesser days, and the reason. At the same time, If not with kids, CO might want to know why u are not applying for kids.

I am not giving an answer to ur Q; I know. But this is a dilemma that I am going thru, so I understand the pain.

I don't think there is a straight answer any one can give; but for the personal views.
