Applied to FSW and Alberta

Any advice please?
I have applied under the FSW category and Alberta H1B stream also.

FSW status: sent applications to Buffalo in May 09. Received confirmation of receipt in 2 weeks. Since then no progress.
Alberta status: Received nomination yesterday. Alberta has asked me to send my application to Buffalo.

Questions:
1) Do I need to send it again or let them know that my application is already pending in Buffalo?
2) Do i need to select between FSW or Alberta?
3) Will this help speed up my processing?
