I applied for PGWP in mid feb but I didn't get any mail or email or update since then. I finished my courses in dec and had my confirmation of degree completion from my faculty in jan. Even though my permits only valid until march 5, I applied my application within 90 days after my courses completed. I am very frustrated now because my study permit and off campus work permit are expired for a month already.

My questions are

Would they sent me Something regardless they accept or refuse me?
Should I continue working? This gap without any permit confuses me. I have a part time job and I need it to feed myself and pay my rent.
My Alberta personal health insurance obvious expired due to my study permit expired. Can I still claim my medical fee to my student health care insurance? I paid that as part of my tuition from last fall, should last to this sept.

Please help me and thank you for all replies in-advance.

That's quite a long wait but on the cic website it says that they are processing applications received on Feb 28. They will definitely let you whether they grant you a permit or not. You should call the call centre and ask them about:
1. the status of your application
2. your insurance issue

You cannot claim anything without health care insurance. You are in a very uncomfortable situation here and you should definitely call immigration and explain your case.
