So glad to have found this forum. My ten-month old son and I arrived to London, Ontario from the UK in October to re-unite with my husband who is a PR resident. We've applied to a PR family sponsorship application inland in November. I haven't received any information yet on my application. I am aware that there is a requirement for my son and I to stay but my brother's wedding is coming up at the end of May and I would really like to go back home to England and attend. What are the consequences that I have to face? My trip will be short and I do not require a visa to enter Canada. If I do get first stage approval at that time, can I leave then or do I have to wait for second stage approval. Can anyone help please? Thank you in advance.
