Hi.. I amd citizen of India, applied for Canadian PR while I was in the US, in April 2010. I am now in the UK. My application has successfully moved ahead... got my medicals etc done and they have also asked for RPRF, which I have already paid now. So I am expecting to get the PR visa soon. However, my concern is that I will have to get my visa stamped in the UK. Not sure how that would happen. My address in their official records is still my US address. Any ideas how they will handle this? I obviously cannot send my passport to US. I will have to get it done in India only. Any ideas please?

What visa processing office did you select when you submitted your application? If you selected the US, then your entire application will be processed there including visa stamping. Even if you change locations, CIC rarely moves the file to a different visa office. So when it's time for visa stamping, you will have to find a way to get your passport to that visa office.
