Hi I am Pauline Janine B. Laude from the Philippines. I applied TRV with multiple-entry visa last May 23, 2016. And I got my reply today June 1, 2016. The letter says that the CIC is refusing my application. I am a first timer here so I want you to help me. I want to visit my family in Canada because I really miss them. My family moved to Canada last October 22, 2015.

Anyway the letter says that I need to provide my Travel history, Employment prospects in country of residence and Personal assets and financial status. I cannot provide those because I don't have travel history, this is my first time to apply or visit the other country. About the employment, I am unemployed since 2015. My parents still supporting me about my financial status since I was a baby. They never stop providing my needs. How am I going to provide the employment documents? I don't have any idea how am I going to convince the Immigration Officer that my family can provide my financial status when I will visit them in Canada. And regarding the Personal Assets, I provide the Bank statements that every month I have allowances on my Kabayan Account in BDO.

Please help me how am I going to provide the needs of the Immigration Officers. :'(

I don't think there is any point reapplying until you can demonstrate much stronger ties to your home country. Right now your ties to Canada are strong than your ties to your home country and this is the reason for the refusal (CIC is concerned you have plans on remaining Canada long term). I would focus on getting a good job in your home country. Once you've been working for 6-8 months full time, you can try reapplying.

Good luck.

Hi! Im also a filipina..
My aunt was refused due to the same issue except on the Travel History.
What we did is we indicate on the questionnaire that my aunt is dependent on
My cousins' financial support. So my cousin who is the sponsor includes her remittances record, bank statements, assets like house, car etc and combine COE and paystubs of her husband..and luckily they got approve..
