My parents already have a regular visitor visa, but I applied for a Super Visa back in Oct. 2021, application got approved in Nov. 2021 as Regular Visa. I paid extra for them to do the Biometrics but that was ignored.
I emailed them about this, got a response in Jan. 2022 that the issue was forwarded to the responsible office. Nothing changed till now.

What do you guys think I should do? I should I re-apply for Super Visa?

Are your parents oytside Canada? How much time have they spent in Canada on their TRV? Does your current NOA show you mert LICO for your family size? How much time have they been spending in their home country and do they have strong ties to their home country? If they were only granted a 4 year TRV initially there seems to be some concern aboabout yt their file.

No problem with NOA and LICO. Their visitor visa expiry is based on the expiry of the Biometrics they did like 6 years ago.
Medicals are done, now we wanted to renew Biometrics for this Super Visa.
Should we re-apply?

Also, if there was an issue or concern, wouldn't they mention it and refuse it instead of treating it like a Regular Visitor Visa?

You can ask for reconsideration and specify that they wanted to be considered for a supervisa. What is thrir citizenship? How much time habe they spent in Canada? How much time gave thet spent in their home country in the past 5 years?
