I'm guessing you asked the IRCC call centre agent if your parents can extend their stay for up to 2 years on this visa. And, that's where this confusion has possibly arisen.

Your parents can extend their visitor status/stay for up to 2 years (even on a TRV). This may seem like a super visa but it is NOT a super visa.

I suggest that your parents do not come on a one-way ticket (typical of super visa travelers). But they must book return tickets

yes you are right, it seems difficult, even though they conform super visa, need to have appropriate visa sticker.

It's a single entry super visa which is valid for only 6 months.

When does her passport expire?

It is single entry, 6 Months visa, you need to book return ticket for travelling purpose. Better book extendable ticket.
After she comes to Canada, You can extend her stay by applying again.

Sorry guys I am going to write in Hindi
Inka kuch thikana nhi, mere parents ko 10 year ka multiple diya hai par super visa nahi likha, to India se air port se aane hi nahi denge agar me one way ticket book karvata hu to. Me to fir bhi fas gaya ticket to muje return hi karvani padegi.

Hi folks,
Does anyone know? V 1 (multiple), is it super visa or regular visitor visa?
I applied for super visa and they issued V1, can I email them again about this ?
or My parents need to tell immigration officer about longer stay when they land to Canada?
Any idea or experience??
What is the stamp for Super visa?
Please share your experience.
Thank You in advance

RTaylor, Do you mind mentioning your application date? And was it online or paper based?

I applied online on Feb-02-2017, got passport request on March-09-2017. They sent passport to visa center on March-10-2017 and got return on March-24-2017.

Can I argue with them ? I applied for Super visa and they issued Visitor, Can I email them ?
DO I have any option apart from accepting it ?
hi, did u get any answer to ur problem as i am in same situation. let me know please

Same issue. Applied for super visa but got V1. Did anyone overcome this issue?

IRCC can chose to issue a regular TRV and not a super visa. You can certainly try submitting a webform to request that IRCC reconsider and issue a super visa instead. However IRCC has no obligation to reconsider their decision.
