Hi everyone!

I applied for PR from within Canada and now i moved out of Canada, i wonder about the pros and cons of updating the foreign address.

Is all correspondenses are goign to ve via email? Is there any issues with updating the home country address ?

I have received the AOR now .

You have to inform CIC about the change of your address. Processing time is same for within Canada and Outside Canada, so no worries about updating the CIC about change of address

"I need to change my personal information or my mailing address. What do I do?

Please e-mail us (CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca) in any of the following cases:
- You change your marital status
- There is a birth or death in your family.
- You change your mailing, residential or e-mail address if you reside outside of Canada**.

**If you reside in Canada, you must use the CIC’s online form to change your contact information. It is up to you to keep your contact information up-to-date. If you do not keep your contact information up-to-date, it could delay the processing of your application. Please quote your complete application number (letter “E”, “EP” or “F” ) followed by eight or nine digits in all correspondence with our office."

AOR, MR, RPRF + Biodata Forms, PPR - all comes in Email if you used an email address. The last step COPR will come in with your passport in regular postal mail in the address you provide. If you are staying outside Canada, You can request CIC to have your visa stamped in your Local Canadian High commission, when they ask for your passport for visa.
