Applied for a TRV and was offered a TRP Please urgently advise

I applied for a Visitor for my wife who lives in Yemen. After waiting for 3 months and sending a follow up email they requested medical and criminal.After 4 more weeks they called her asking if she still wanted the visa or wanted to wait for the sponsorship to be processed or still want the visa she said yes.The person told her they are ready to issue her the visa and she would have to pay some extra fees We got and email and that what the letter stated.

You would be pleased to know that and officer has positively processed your application and in order for us to proceed we need $200 processing fee for a trp .we cannot proceed until we get the fees.

She has no criminal record or any medical conditions.i am not sure what to do or even what it means does that mean they are giving me only a trp which is not right for her case or a visitor visa as well.I am not sure what to do i dodnt understand what they mean and what i should do in this case.please help me and guide me on what i should do should i go ahead with the TRP and will it be easy to renew it as i cant afford to send her and back when the PR comes.or am i just understanding this letter wrong please help me i appreciate all your input.

Its good to have TRV and TRP together.....You applied for TRV and they might be processing your TRP-category 10 along with TRV so its positive sign for you...in this case you dont need to renew you wife visa and they will give u visa and TRv limited to you work pemrit expiry------In my case i got my wife TRV from backhome embassy and then TRP after landing in canada ---------normally TRV fees is 150$ (multiple) and 75$ fees(TRP)....i dont know how much u paid while submitting you application but in total its should be 225$,,,,,you dont have option an djust send them 200$ and u will find postive result as signs indicate

that good can you please advise what a category 10 trp is.I have also applied for spousal and they know that will it complicate anything there.also is it easy to renew as it really expensive for me to send her back.and will they give her 6 months or more and what the possibility that this type of visa is extended

Category 10 is permit type which allows spouse of student/worker to stay more then 6 months without applying for extenion .......limited to expiry date of spouse workpermit or study permit

I have confirmed. That they are only issuing and TRP not sure why because she has no criminal or medical issues. Know that and visa officer makes and decision on the airport. Is that true and what can I do in advance to make the visa officer conceive that she will go back and would you recommend that I go for the trp and will I be easily able to renew it. Thanks a lot for all your help
