Applied Candian TRV at New york

Hi I have applied canadian TRV at New york on Jul24th in person. They have told that check after Sep6th So far no response do you have any idea how long does it takes.

if you had applied in person , generally you will get it in 2 days.

2 Days processing time is true till last month. Due to large volume of aplications they are not telling the specifc dates. taking min of 30 days. I just want to know this is applicable for everyone or specific to certain applicants? Any recent expericences greatly appreciated

Yeah...even i heard that in person is much faster...i applied for mine thru mail on the 13th of July and no response yet...

Can anyone please let me know if they have applied for the Visitor Visa for Canada with a US Visa from Newyork? My brother is a US citizen but my sister in law has a US visa. They want to visit me in Canada but unfortunately the visa process was really slow from Islamabad, Pakistan. Hence we are trying to find out if there is any other way they can obtain the visa, since the Buffalo office is also not accepting visa applications.

Anyone's prompt reply would be much appreciated as they are traveling in a few weeks!

CHC NYC is accepting TRV applicants in-person. I suggest to go in-person much faster

i wrote an email to the embassy on monday and today i recieved a reply with just the file number.
it is close to a month since i have sent all the docs by mail to the NY consulate.
hope something is getting processed .

Took me 35 days including weekends.

yeah.....i was quite nervous..but quite excited now for my trip to Canada...

, I have waited for 41 days including the weekens. The Canadian Consulate said they will mail back my passport shortly. But I still waiting for it.
