applications before sept 2006. Do you need to provide updated docs. later ?

If your file is up for processing and you applied via regular application with all docs. Pre simmplified process ( 2006) accompanying the application ! Has anyone received this kind of letter?

I got my file number in August 2005. I have had a automatically generated letter to applicants from July & August 2005 asking to supply any documentation not submitted at time of application. It asks for Schedule 1 form to sent at this time and an Application simplified process form.
Does anyone know do we need to submit any updated documents as my application was accompanied by all docs. with my regular application. Does anything expire once with the Embassy i.e police certs. etc. ?

I'm a little confused. If you received your AOR before September 1, 2006 then you should be using the regular application - not the simplified application. So I don't understand why they asked you for a simplified application.

If I were you, I'd fax them a letter asking why they are asking for a simplified application when you got your AOR in August 2005. Give them your fax number so they can send a reply.
