I think if i were you, i would send the passport the same day they request it(maybe before)

I was just hoping I do so the same day but I had to renew my passport to avoid later trouble I will be more and more happy to see your case processed for medicals Just imagine yourself waking up early for the doctor appointment ;D

Dear friends, i have this to share:

I was shocked yesterday when i received the 2nd AOR dated 9 March 2011

This means it took one and a half months to be delivered from one point to another within Cairo?????
!!!!!!

-the letter itself is dated 9/3/2011
-it was received at the main post office 15/3/2011
-then was received by the post office of my region 23/4/2011
-and finally reached my house yesterday 27/ 4/2011

I could not believe this hustle.!!!!!

What concerns me is that with the letter, they attached labels with new file number and barcode and i was advised to use these labels for any documents to be sent to the VO.
I'm so worried because i have already sent the requested documents on 18/4/2011 without sticking a label
because the letter and labels were delivered to me only yesterday!!! ??? ??? ???

I have sent them an email and also dropped them a letter in their mail box describing the situation but i wonder if they will ever reply?? ??? ??? ???

They said in the letter that this new file number for more efficient processing of the file but still i have to keep my old file number!!!

old number: B057*****

Have any one received such labels?

Hi Kevinca,

I was advised by my immigration consultant to wait for 45 working days before making any case specific inquiry but I could only wait till 40 elapsed days as my DD was not encashed and also I did not get any acknowledgment for the PP delivered to VO, it's your call whether you can submit a case specific query to VO.

My BD is also not encashed after 28 days. I wonder if it is necessary to send specific query to VO asking whether they have received the BD safely. Is sending query would have some negative/delaying effect on the process?
