Hi Anil,

How long it will take to get 2nd AOR from VO after having PER from CIC,


Also what will be the next step, Should we start process to get police certificate , any other things required

If you know , how ND VO will process once it has received from CIC?

That is the reason we request all our good friends to be regular on this thread ...... ......
For New Delhi applicants - One will get their 2nd AOR by normal mail (postal only, no email) ..... it may even get lost .. .... BUT the MR will be sent through Registered post ..... so keep a watch on your postman.

what details did you receive on 3rd March. does it contain any medical form?

Yes... It contains Medical Request forms for all members of my family.
Request to pay the Right of Permanent Resident fee & Passport Request.

will it help if i send an explanation letter, imm 0008, imm 0008 schedule 1 now along with my birth certificate now. i know its a bit too late.

it wont gonna work if you send missing docs now.
CIO completes completeness check within 2 days so if they want to retun your application for Birth certificate, your application might have been sent to your address. by the way, contact with your bank to know whether your BD has been encashed or not. If it has been encashed then your application passed completeness check.

Also i have few queries which are mentioned below. pls advise me on this.

1. I want to add my son's details (born in Jan 11) in my application . how do i do that secondly at stage should inform i.e. after receving the 2nd AOR or after gettting call for medical.
2. I want to pay $150 towards my child's application fees . can i pay this INR & in whose name should i drawn this.
3. i have obtain PCC from Mumbai RPO in the month october 2010 , but i did not sent it along with the application . so do i need to apply for fresh PCC once again .also i have been told by mumbai RPO that the validity of PCC is one year from the date of issue. i am very confused. pls advise should i go for fresh PCC or current PCC i am having will do.
4. when will i get my 2nd PER & medical request(approximately) & how much time it take to get the visa after medicals are done ?

Yesterday my status changed to received by VO, Please tell me if this is second AOR and what will happen now ??

It's not 2nd AOR.VO usually send 2nd AOR by post & you can expect your 2nd AOR within 1 month from the date of your application received by VO

Hi,

Normally it takes a month between PER and AOR....CIC has to forward ur application to ND-VO...then ND VO starts the background check...and thats when they send the 2nd AOR.....since it comes thru ordinary mail, keep a look out....

if you haven't submitted ur PCC initially, there is a chance that ND-VO would be asking for it when they send u the medical requests....u would be given 45 days to submit them....so u can apply for it then....

just keep a watch on your post box

Addition of Newborn Baby/ies

After the 2nd AOR/PER, anything & everything must go to the VO [not to CIO-NS]. And always remember to write a Cover Letter. As soon as the baby is born - Register the Birth [obtain a Birth Cert... hospitals will assist u with it, but the onus of getting the B/Cert shall rest with the parent/s] & Apply for his/her Pps. As u receive the pps, send the following to your local CHC [your VO]:

Hi Vicky,

Welcome to the forum,,...and congrats on your PER...

As for your concerns,

1. Once you receive your 2nd AOR or e-cas (client application status in www.cic.gc.ca) shows "Received by Visa Office", which ever is earlier, please send them the following documents if you need to add your new born....write a cover letter mentioning the addition of a new born in your application and attach the following documents too

1. Notarized copy of baby's birth certificate
2. Notarized baby's passport copy
3. Photographs as per requirement
4. IMM0008 (2nd page to be filled again) - Family members details
5. IMM5406 - Additional Family Information
6. Application processing fees (150 CAD)/ the beneficiary name should be the same "Receiver General For Canada" incase of DD...it is mentioned in the CIO site, that processing fees should be in canadian funds...

2. Normally the PCC is valid only for 6 months according to ND-VO...so there is a chance they might ask you for a fresh PCC when they send your medical requests....so i suggest you apply for it when asked for...they give you 45 days for submission....

3. it takes about anywhere between 30 - 40 days between PER and AOR....and our track sheet shows that medical requests have been sent between 10 - 15 days after AOR....since no one has received a visa yet we r not sure about the timelines.....

Firstly wait for your AOR...it normally comes thru ordinary mail...so keep a watch on your postbox

Once u receive that, u can start the above mentioned steps ....by then keep all the required documents ready for submission(pertaining to ur baby) to ND VO...

Hey edidigit,

We were asked to do

1. Xray Chest
2. Urine routine
3. HIV
4. VDRL
5. Physical examination

They gave us 45 days for the medical reports to reach the VO....the reports are sent by the DMP directly to the visa office...so the earlier u finish the tests, the better
