Applications after 26/6 in any NOC CONNECT HERE TO GET THE STATUS

Guys, I want to ask your opinion on something. I read somewhere that you can do your medical anytime after you have submitted your application. This however does not guarantee that you will receive a visa and it is only valid for one year. Do you guys think this means that you can go to one of the designated doctors and ask them to perform a Canadian Medical even before it is requested from your local VO?

No you cannot do it..until they ask you to do... as result will be sent by doctor himself to CIC ...
i dun have much knowledge but i think it is like that :-\

Hi there, I just received my file number on February 6. Documents submitted last week of September and received on October 5. My question is what's the next step to be done? According to the letter my documents will be forwarded to London VO. Thank you very much. God bless.

.....This to me is the sequence for Pre June 25, where the 2nd AOR is sent, telling applicant they have passed final eligibility.........In fact, besides the Manila applicants, I don't think any of our applications have reached the VO yet...

At the second page of ECAS, after logging in, CIC has provided the following 3 categories to assist in understanding the wordings provided under “Permanent Residence Application Status”

• Application for Permanent Residence Outside Canada
• Application for Permanent Residence in Canada
• Application for Permanent Residence - Federal skilled Worker submitted to Sydney, Nova Scotia

It is only at the 3rd option, where the application is submitted to NS, that the sequence “Application Received -> Centralized Intake Office Sydney (CIO-S) - Eligibility Review Complete - > Received by Visa Office -> Visa Office - Eligibility Review Complete -> In Process -> Decision Made -> Complete” is mentioned. As for the other 2, the sequence is “In Process -> Decision Made -> Complete”

Unless someone from the July and August 2010 batch, has something other than “In Process”, I would be inclined believe that their file is already at their respective VOs. I have included early September 2010, solely on the basis of Nursemich’s case. Of course, I would also agree that Nursemich's may be an exception. Its also quite hard to believe that the only files to reach the VO are those to Manila, and that everything else are at standstill!

As to how fast it progress at the respective VOs, its anybodies guess; but definitely it would not be at the order of its receipt at CIO - which explains Nursemich's case.

I second Hasib on this Nish .. No way one can get past the completeness check without POF documents, leave out the eligibility review stage.

true my application didnt even pass completeness check. my bd was also not encashed. i had filed my application through a agent and he was over confident that POF is not required at this stage.


i think i wil l now have to wait for the new quota to open. thats the only choice with me now.

can someone tell me where exactly CIC has mentioned that POF is definately required....i want to show it to my idiotic agent.
