Hi Folks,

I had an RQ in current app and it is moved to St. Clair office yesterday. I am considering re-applying once 4/6 year rule takes affect in June if I don't hear back anything.

Many people say that I will get RQ again and file will end up again in St. Clair but with new operating procedures seems CIC is issuing RQs only if they see residency conflicts. This time I plan to attach all the Residency related documentation along with the app.

I want to seek some input and thoughts on this approach??

I'm thinking of it too but wondering how much time would it save. Also do you know how long it takes to withdraw?
We do not how streamlined the process is when we apply. We have to go through the same steps again with another CO. Let me know your thoughts on the same.
Coz the RQ response time in St.Clair office is scaring the hell out of me.

St. Clair office is a black hole with no consistent process. But once 4/6 year rule takes affect, CIC Sydney will have no work for 1 year and when we submit app with all documentation they won't have reason to issue a RQ. By June I would have about 5.5 years of clean residency period.

Withdraw process is simple - you send the letter with Withdrawal form to St. Clair they will withdraw it right a way. I m thinking 1-2 weeks.

The thing is with the new process is it does not guarantee no RQ.
