Application with mistake - dependent child sponsorship - received application #

I got an email from CIC yesterday that my application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received. I have been given an UCI and an application number.

Should I just go ahead and send in the correct version of the application form (primary applicant) with the correct information populated?

You can do that, yes, and also send a letter indicating how and why there were errors on the original.
