Application Updates???

Hello,
my partner was approved as a sponsor in January 2014. A month later we received an email asking to provide more proof of cohabitation which we did and we have not heard anything confirming they received the new information nor any updates on my PR.
Also, we can only check the status of the sponsorship - which we know already has been approved and do not have any Information to access and check the status of my application for PR.

Please can anyone shed some light on this situation/ know who I can contact?

most likely you are not going to hear anything from the VO. Generally speaking, they only notify applicants when they need more info, if they are requesting an interview, or are ready to issue PPR. On Ecas, when you sign in with your sponsor's UCI and personal information, the applicant's information is linked to that, and you will be able to see the status of your applicaiton. Truthfully, it's probably not going to give you much insight, and will only tell you if your application is in process. Another option is to order your GCMS notes. This can be done online and takes about 30 days to receive. This will give you a general idea of where your application is at, and it may tell you if they acknowledged the new information you sent.
