Application to Sponsor

Just a quick (and probably obvious) question, just want to make sure.

On the application to sponsor, question 8(a) asks marital status, to which I put common-law, and wrote the date our relationship started (11/11/2004 - the date we first started dating, not the date our relationship qualified as common-law, this is correct, right?). Then questions 8(b) asks if I have a conjugal partner. Do I answer yes or no to this? My common-law partner is my conjugal partner, but are they asking if I have a conjugal partner in addition to my common-law partner? Gaaah why can't this just be straight-forward?

IMM 1344 - Question 8a) Date relationship started for Common-Law

Yeah I am confused about that one too. I am not too sure about this one because I know in the other forms IMM 5002 (In-Canada Applicant...) question 10) My marital status - Common Law, provide the date which you ENTERED into the common-law relationship - the dates are different from the date relationship started.

Please correct me if I am wrong because we are 2 weeks away before finalising our documents. Just need to perfect it and thanks for the questions and answers.

Prior to the previous post: Marital status

Date Relationship started and (IMM 1344 - Q.8a)
Date entered into the common-law relationship (IMM 5002 - Q.10)

Is there a significant difference between this two? Just the questions didn't really explain well, or I am just don't understand the simple questions..

(IMM 1344 - Q.8a) Another thing is, my sponsor was married before but they are legally separated for 4 years, Does my sponsor have to X married and the date of marriage then X the legally separated and the X common-law?
