Application to Sponsor Parents and Grandparents

Citizenship and Immigration Canada has now received 5,000 complete applications and the new intake into the PGP program will again pause until next year.

My question is - can i still send the application or CIC will send me the application back?

Please help !

Yep.
If your income qualifies in 2011, 2012 and 2013, you can hope to submit an application in January 2015 when program re-opens.

As others have said, CIC will send it back. If CIC were to hold the application towards next year, it will only create a backlog that started the problem in the first place under the old PGP rules.
