Application study permit in VAC LA

Hi i am in canada as a visitor and i get admitted in a University.

1. Can i appLY my study permit to VAC LA ?

2. Can i just mail thru courier my application? so i dont have to go there (biometrics is not applicable for me)

3. will they also mail me my passport back?

4. How long will it take?

You can apply whenever you are... You have to drop your paper application in person.. So no you cannot just send them your documents...

If you want not to move form where you are you need to apply online..

How much is the Fees aside from (150$) do i still have to pay the additional VAC service charge?
The fee for the VAC service is US $37.72. OR it does not apply to study permit?

Your VAC should provide at their website a list of prices depending on the different services they give you ... For example helping you filling the application, copies, etc etc costs... But only for reception of documents I remember my VAC office charged about 40 $ or so

1. That's the only option other than applying in your country of citizenship.
2. Yes, once you get a request to submit Passport on MyCIC account.
3. Yes, if you submit a prepaid return airway bill.
5. 5 weeks.
