Application status question.

Hello everybody. I just submit application for immigration as a skilled worker (Federal). Application was submitted to embassy in Warsaw, Poland. After few weeks I’ve received a letter confirming my submission and my file #. One of the sentenced says "No action will be taken on your application for 24-39 months". Same day went to cic website to check application status. I was surprised finding my application is "In process". Now I’ am confused - is my application "in process" already or is it just confirmation that application was submitted?

It will sit there as "in progress" for the next 24-39 months, at which time it will be opened and you will be requested to provide the required documents.

I think pmm is right,i ve gotten ppr and my status online is still in progress.it was like that for over six years.cheers

Too bad for me. :-( I'am just wondering if it make any diference that my application status is "in process" not "in progress".

Actualy here is what i got in my application status:
Applicant Permanent Residence Application Status
FNAME LNAME In Process

an when i click to see detail there is:

Permanent Residence
We started processing your application on August 27, 2007.

I am new to this forum, I would request you all to please lemme know if you have any idea what would be my application status -:

I had sent the medical documents last year in march and Recently got the request to send the chest Xray to immigration department.

This is what it shows on "TRACK APPLICATION STATUS PAGE"

We received your application for permanent residence on April 28, 2010.

"We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on August 3, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the Buffalo office. They are pending review.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

We transferred your application to the $ciccic_office_id$ office on August 11, 2010. The $ciccic_office_id$ office may contact you.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on February 13, 2012."
