Application status Need help

Hi All,

Status of my case at CIC website tells that they have sent a letter to my address in USA on July 6th. However it will return back to consulate since i am not staying there. i haven't done the forward option to my native country.

I have contacted the CIC on July 22 regarding my address change and requested for status of my application.

CIC informed me that they updated the new address (on 24th July) and sent a status letter to the address specified in the application form.

I have few concerns please advice..
1. In the mail they haven't specified which address they sent that letter. Shall i request them to send it to new address or wait for 2-4 weeks.
2. Status still shows the old address. After how many days it will get updated in the system

In my status, it updated quite quickly but every so often it toggles back to my old address and then gets updated again. kind of weird huh.

You can still do mail forwarding through USPS website. I did it all through USPS website but i dont know if they have international forwarding or not.
