Application Status for Permanent Residence(Spouse): In Process

Hi Guys,

My wife in Canada forwarded our papers to CPC-Missisauga last December 22, 2009. She received confirmation that our documents were already sent here in the Philippines last January 18, 2010.

The Canadian embassy in Philippines requested for my passport last February 8, 2010. I sent them my passport March 10, 2010 because they also needed the Certificate of Advisory of Marriage that takes time to process in NSO.

It's already June 7 and I haven't received my passport or any notification letter from Canadian Embassy.

Here is the timeline:

• December 22, 2009 - Submitted documents to CPC-M
• January 18, 2010 - Eligibility approved
• February 8, 2010 - Started processing and requests for passport and additional document
• March 10, 2010 - Sent passport and document
• April to June, 2010 -No response yet

Well once they pull your app out of cue enter the CAIPS notes and request more documents.Then you send them...so they get them mach 12 13 14 correct,depending how you sent them.So then they are recieved in the embassy a clerk enters them into your file,and there is a date they use to return to your file as they give you time to get the stuff they requested.So if they put in the computer to revisit your app on april 1st or April 15th.Thats when they go back to your file.So if thats the case then they have to check the document you sent to see if it is true and correct.This could take till the middle may so it not being back to you yet is not tooo far fetched.
