I submitted my app on December 30,2009

Which local office. Did you receive a letter about it?

my file was transfered to Vancouver office. I m in Van.

anybody know what's the timeline in Van office?

I havn't got the letter, the on line status says so.

will the FOSS slow down the process? or should i just wait for the letter?

OH! I just noticed that we have exactly same timeline of the apps.

I remember reading a few weeks back that the timeline in Van was between 6 mo to 18mo but I cannot find where I read that now.

FOSS notes will not slow anything down. I believe they are free (since you are in Canada) and they can give you a better idea of what is happening with your file. It takes about 30 days for them to arrive so I wouldn't wait on requesting them.

I also applied in dec 2009, transferred to local office on sep 10, 2010.
My application was also sent to local etobicoke office. I called the call center and they told 6 months for an interview. Did you call the call center and what did they say?

I think i won't get any letter until at least 6mos...
