Application returned requiring hand signatures on IMM 5532

Hello, wonderful people. Our application was returned today for the second time. Now they are saying the following:

Relationship Information and Sponsorship Evaluation (IMM 5532)

• Please provide a completed and signed Relationship Information and Sponsorship Evaluation (IMM 5532).
• Missing handwritten signature(s):
  • The sponsor must sign the following sections: Part A, #9 and Part C, #12. The principal applicant must sign the following sections: Part B, #5 and Part C, #13.

This form was provided as is in our first application and It was not rejected. I just changed the dates of the signatures. We printed the form as PDF and typed our names where our signatures were needed. This is what we understood the instructions IRCC had for this form and this is what we saw everyone doing. Here are the instructions from IRCC

  • Important: To digitally sign the form, you must first complete the form and then select “print to PDF”. This will create a new a version of the form that can be digitally signed.

Shall I now print the form, sign it manually, and then scan it?

There is still someone sitting unaware of their own instructions that all the forms can be digitally signed. When did you submit it?

I would upload two versions. One with the print-to-pdf format, and another hand signed to be safe.
ALSO upload a screenshot of ircc website's instruction for the e-signature, as well as a letter of explanation.
Sorry that happened to you, seems like you got the anomaly of a bad reviewer on your file.

We submitted ours june 15th and the 5532 as e-signatures and it was accepted,.
I tried to upload the representative form later with webform with e-signs and was also rejected cause it was not hand signed. (which is stupid because literally everything is digitally signed now.)

This rule about digital signatures for 5532 has been in place more than a year. How come there are still some program assistants even don’t check the guide before rejection? Nonsense
