Application Return without saying why

Hello All,

We recently submitted our inland application for a Spousal visa (Dec 2015). Today we received a package in the mail with all of our returned documents. Nothing in the package stating why the documents was returned to us. I'm going to give them a call tomorrow, but its really frustrating and stressful to see the documents return. I don't know the reasoning, we submitted everything that was asked, answered all the questions paid for the application; still we are upset. What could be the reasoning? Also, as we paid for the application, will we have to pay for the application again? Or will they return our money and we will have to resubmit the forms again?

Missing signature? Missing a critical document?

You can also double check that you used the most recent versions of all of the forms, and had the photos taken according to the updated specifications.

My vote is that you were either missing a form or signature - or you used an out of date form that is no longer accepted.

My worst nightmare is having my app sent back to me!! I sent it in a few weeks ago! Fingers crossed this does not happen to me! It is weird that some people get the app sent back to them and some just get a request for the missing document. Atleast that is what I have seen in this forum

When did you send your application?
i don't think that this is because of old forms because at least they would have asked you for the updated one. The only reason i understand is that of a missing signature,date or form.
Did you write N/A for the forms that were not applicable to you?

We've actually had a few people here recently who have had their applications returned due to outdated forms. It's unfortunately entirely possible.

Can they still return an App even after you got the AOR and your eCAS in process for missing docs/signature?
