Application Rejected, Now Refund till now - 5 months

Kindly help,

I have got my PR application rejected in Oct, 09, & was told that the refund of visa fees will be given with 9 weeks, & so far nothing has been received.
Kindly guide what to do....

Refund comes from Nova Scotia office, write a letter to NS with a copy to local visa office - requesting refund. attach copy of rejection with it.

hi frenz,can anyone guide me ragarding the refund of fees. I had applied in august 2009 and got approval from CIC but from local visa ofiice my application was rejected because of insufficient points i.e by shortage of 2 points only.It because i was not able to get required score in IELTS.I recieved only 10 points in IELTS but i reqiured 12.so plz tell me is the fees will b refundable to me?If yes the wot should i do?I already sent application for refund of fees to Local visa ofiice but still no rply.so plz guide me

Hello, No refund, your application was processed and refused. So, no refund claims, if you have paid your Right of Permanent Residence fees (RPRF- which is different than Application Fees), that will refunded back to you but not Application fees.
