Application rejected due to PCC not covering the entire stay period

We got nomination from Alberta and our EE application got rejected as PCC was not covering the entire stay of my wife. We missed this part while submitting the application. We have re-applied the new PCC to cover the entire stay in India as she is foreigner.


Our main problem is CRS score 417 without nomination and we cannot get ITA without nomination.

Does anyone know how can we re-appeal to IRCC for considering the new PCC or re-open the application which was cancelled due to incomplete details? Anyone faced similar situation and got it rectified without going through route of creating new EE profile?

You were correctly refused since the PCC didn't cover your wife's entire stay. An appeal will not succeed since you were correctly refused for having an incomplete application and because this was your error. You can provide the correct PCC and ask IRCC to reopen the application. However based on experiences on this forum, IRCC rarely considers these requests.

You will most likely need to reapply.

You should contact Alberta asap to see if the nomination can be extended.

You cannot appeal - you have no basis for an appeal since you were correctly refused for failing to provide a complete application. What you would do is request that the application be re-opened (this is not the same as an official appeal). You can say whatever you want in the request to re-open the application. No - saying that PCC authorities made a mistake will not guarantee that the application will be re-opened. Whether the application is re-opened or not is up to IRCC and there is no way to guarantee it will be re-opened.

Do nominations come with an expiry date? Just curious. What is stopping you from creating a new profile as long as the nomination is 'valid'?

Nomination issued came into the Express Entry profile. Whenever application is rejected with incomplete details, they ask to create new profile. So question would be how to link the nomination with New profile?
Yes Nominations comes with expiry. sometimes it is valid for 6 months or so.
