Application Reject - NOC problem

Hi there,

Guys, I have been rejected because I applied with "0013 Senior Managers – Financial, Communications and Other Business Services". The point is I am an entrepreneur and I have started my own company. Since it is a small company I have also been in charge of managing several IT projects at the same time. Can I re-apply by using "0213 Computer and Information Systems Managers" as the code of my job and revise the task list?

Oh God. Each rejection reaches pain to all who have applied or whos gonna apply.
I am not sure about your NOC code but One this i am watching that without concerned degree of 0213 they are rejecting even tho the applicant might have 10+ yrs of experience in IT field.

You got your bachelors and masters in IT?
IF so, I'd say apply again after making correction to what they have pointed out now.
Be sure this time you write the duties and responsibilties as CIC requires. Dont copy them, make resemblances.

I did the exact same thing ( different NOC code mind you and ours got rejected first time too so I went back to the list of 38 and had a look at which best described our skill set and after finding the codes and titles my husband went from the director of operations to a hotel and resturant manager both of which he had been doing but on a slightly larger scale!!! so I resent the application and today we have recieved our AOR from CIO and 120 days to submit , so give it a try you have nothing to lose.... Keep the Faith..

guys, i have a small ques....while applying second time to CIO do u mention abt the previous rejection from CIO...there is ques in the form
if u have been refused for any visa'
do u mention abt the refusal from CIO or it should be mentioned only if we get rejection from visa office.
especially LIBBYLUBBY..u have recently done this ...what did u write abt the last refusal.

The application was refused on the grounds that we didn't meet the ministerial requirements, so therefore reapplying I didn't even think to mention it to be honest we just jiggled the information round and made sure that I checked the correct specifications for the jobs we were applying under. We were not actually refused a visa as such as it was only application stage, that would be the next stage I would imagine but don't quote me, I think CIO Sydney is just a screening centre to be honest.
