Hi guys,
I received an invitation to apply via express entry. I went through the whole process but my permanent residence application was just refused. The reason was insufficient funds, because of a ridiculously small difference of CAD$ 200. Basically I had used a wrong exchange rate.
Do you know if there is anything I can do? Is there an appeal process?

I would really appreciate your help. Thank you!

Unfortunately there's no point in appealing if you had insufficient funds. You must have at least the minimum required to qualify to apply. You'll need to recreate an Express Entry profile and wait to be selected again - and resubmit your application.

But in this case it`s just a matter of exchange rate calculation. Do you think there`s still no point in appealing? I actually have other funds that can be added of course. It seems like a not fair decision, I should have at least been given a few days delay or the possibility to respond.
Thanks a lot for your reponse anyway!

You would be best off posting in the Express Entry section of the forum (not here). Based on what I've seen there - there's no point in appealing. Those in the EE section of the forum can give you better advice.
