Hi,

My wife applied for my visa under family class on Dec 21, 2011. CPC-M sent the approval on Feb 11, 2012. Today I got an email from New Delhi consulate saying that they have received my application. The email also said

In order to expedite the processing of your application, we are requesting that you provide the
following as soon as possible:
• Payment of your Right of Permanent Resident Fee (landing fee) to our office in
Mississauga by your sponsor in Canada, if not already paid.
• Submission of police clearance certificates for time spent in any country for a period
of 6 months or more, if not already submitted.
• Submission of original passport along with any old expired passports for you and your
accompanying family members. The picture in the passport for a child under 6 years
of age must have been taken within the last 3 years. The picture in the passport for a
child between the ages of 7 and 18 must have been taken within the last 5 years
I have already paid my RPRR fee and submitted my pcc with the application. I am currently in US and will be travelling to canada for personal visit in april(I also hold visitor visa to canada). So my question is should I send my passport right away and hope that I will be get it by april or just wait for them to request my passport and by how much will it delay my application.

Thanks
