Application Progress

Hey everyone,

I have submitted my application and so far my medical has been cleared. Yesterday I received the following reply to one of my inquiries:

Please note that your application is currently at the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia and has not yet been transferred to a local visa office.

Can anyone interpret what it shows about the progress of my application so far? And what are the roles of Centralized Intake Office, and Local Visa Office in terms of their duties?
