My initial entry in Canada is not under live in caregiver,.so i need to apply my application of work permit outside canada, as advise also by those who had the same situation as mine here in forum,.the closes is New York.
with more than two months of waiting, i got approval.

[/ quote] Hi Yzza, when did you submit your application to new york visa office and when did you got your approval? can you please write down your timeline if you have time? Did you apply online or by mail? I applied mine on feb,25 and still waiting. I send it thru mail. Thank you so much

heres my time line : (LMIA applied before Nov. 30, 2014)

January 13, 2015- Application receive in New york (Upon receiving my application, they email me to submit my original passport and return AWB)
January 17, "- status:Under consideration
March 24, "-receive approval letter thru email

Right now im waiting for my passport and get my permit in Vancouver (border).

Goodluck to you and to others who have the same situation as mine and still on waiting their application..

Oh I see what you're saying. The NY visa office. The wording made it seem like you are trying to apply for a work permit to work as a Live-In Caregiver in the state of NY. Not applying through NY VO for Canadian Live-in caregiver permit. Got it.
