Re: No update (or AOR) on OINP PR Application even after 9 months

Hi Guys, I submitted my paper based OINP supported Permanent Resident application to CIC early December 2015, and have not been assigned an AOR or been established any contact so far in last 9 months (August 2016). I'm in Canada on a work permit. I wish to add the police verification certificate to my file, however can't do so unless I get any file number. I called up CIC helpline, and they said they can't look into my file since it hasn't exceeded the 15 months timeline (which is average time of processing for paper based applicants). My patience is running out as I do not have any reason to wait unless I know that my application is in processing. No money deducted from my account as well. Could anyone suggest a way to knock the CIC door? Or, has anyone been in this position?

Thanks,
Abhishek Sharma

maximum time for AOR is 4 months, so i belive your application didnt get to CIC, so that means you will have to send the application again, thats it your nomination period has not expire
