Hi,

I filed my CEC application in May 2010, got an AOR end of Sept, 2010.
In Nov 2010, I got married (in Pakistan) and submitted documents to add my spouse to my application. According to Fedex records the documents were received on Dec 2nd, 2010. Later, on March 8th, 2011, my file got transferred to New York office for "expedited" processing.
However, I never got a confirmation from either Buffalo office, or New York office that my wife has been added to my application.
I've tried to contact them many time but the reply was a standard one saying that it would get reflected on my eCAS (which it didn't) or that please contact new york office as Buffalo office has no details regarding your application. The New York office in turn says that they'd respond only if the processing time on your application has exceeded 90 days after the file got transferred.

I ordered a CAIPS report from caipsnotes.com in Feb, 2011, and still haven't received any :(
Honestly, this is starting to get to me a little bit as I want to know if my wife has been added to my application or not.
Please let me know of any reliable service from where I can either reorder my CAIPS report (again... unfortunately) or how can I ask them that my file now contains my wife as well.

Any one with similar experience with CAIPS report / application modification, please share your experience here as well.

Regards,

You don't need a service to obtain CAIPs notes, any more than you need a lawyer to apply for PR.

If you are in Canada, you can apply directly for CAIPs notes using this form. It takes about a month.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-personal.asp

If you are not in Canada, you need someone in Canada to apply for you. In that case you also need to sign a release of personal information to that person.
