Hi everyone,
I have two questions regarding the citizenship application form:
1- In Question 13 of the application form: "Do you currently, or have you ever held immigration or citizenship status in a country or territory other than Canada?": Looking at the dropdown menu options, it seems that IRCC want also to know if you have visited other countries as tourists. Scenario: I had a tourist visa to England that was valid for 1 year back in 2015, I visited England for only 1 week in 2015. In the dates "Dates obtained/effective to End date" should I have the 1 week when I visited or the full 1 year period when I had the valid visa?
2- How do you understand the following question: (question 8-b from minors application): "Has the minor been outside of Canada for a total of 730 days or more in the past five years OR since becoming a permanent resident?". Scenario: My son became PR two years ago a PR and hasnt left Canada since. He was outside the country before that. Should I answer Yes or No?
Thank you very much in advance.
