My de facto spouse is sponsoring me for Permanent Residency and we have received the letter to apply for the CSQ through MIDI.
I have a question regarding the 'Application for Selection Certificate - Family Class' form (A-0520-BF).
Question 1 asks for 'current material status'. Obviously, I tick 'de facto spouse'. With the 'date since', I'm assuming I put the date one year after we starting living together, and thus officially become 'de facto spouses'?.
Question 2 is asking a similar question, in a different way. I need to tick '2.3. I live in a marital relationship with my sponsor since......'
To me, this question is slightly more ambiguous. It is worked such that I would assume we write the date we officially moved in together and started living in a marriage-like relationship. Is this correct? I just am not sure about putting two different dates on the one application form?
Does anyone have insight here as to what date they are looking for? The date we moved in together or 12 months after we moved in and officially became de facto?
