Did you apply on-line or by mail?
What do you mean "going to vegreville"? To go there physically? It would be waste of time as they are not accepting visitors.

Going there is just waste of time, CIC doesn't entertain anyone. check with call center guy or initiate case specific inquiry if normal processing time has been exceeded.

I call this morning cic call center she tell me they working on Dec 20 2014 right now i pass my mail application on January 6 2015 i cannot pass on dec cause atleast 4 months im worried cause my working permit expire on April 1 2015 .im still waiting my PR hope fully this month or nxt month..

Also i sent my file number put a note on my mail attached my application hope fully they received this cause i forgot to attached im worried be rejected. This my first time apply for open working permit no LMO
