Application for Minor

Hi All,

I have a question regarding citizenship application for a minor. Item 9 asks if the child has been outside Canada for more than six months after becoming a permenant resident and to give details. Now my child became a permenant resident over 4 years ago and I'm applying for her along with my application. My travel history dates back only to 4 years as calculated by the residence calculator. Do I have to put the time before the 4 years for my child? Won't that show as a discrepency between my travel details and hers?

If I've got it all wrong, please advise of the proper way to fill this section.

Thanks

yes you need to include all travel history for your daughter since she became PR ( if all trips combined exceed 6 months). It will not make any conflict for example my kids have different trip's dates than me and they will apply with me.

If you are not sure about your daughter's trip order cbsa for her and write the correct info

For my kid, I have calculated total days out of Canada since becoming PR, not just the last 4 year period. Also applicants under 18 don't have minimum stay requirement.
