Hi all,

I am hoping someone had a similar situation and is able to help us decide what to do...

My fiance (dependent) and I received an invitation to apply in April and have submitted the required docs at the beginning of July as a Common Law Relationship couple and are now waiting for the evaluation to finish. We wanted to get married this year but decided to wait until after we receive our permanent residency cards since she would have to change all her documents and that would take some time...

In the meantime, we are thinking that that would not be such a terrible idea and are thinking to get married (we really want to :)) in the middle of the express entry evaluation process. That would mean that we would have to report the change in our relationship status and I don't know how would that reflect on the outcome...

Does anyone has any solid advice or has had a similar situation?
Thanks!
