Application cancelled because of PCC

Hi

I received a cancellation message stating the application is incomplete, because my UAE PCC was dated couple of days before leaving the country. I have the latest PCC now which I can submit. Is there a way I can make a request to reinstate the application OR make a new Express Entry Profile (as mentioned in the cancellation message)?

Other questions that I had:
1. Should I get the PCCs again? Because both my UAE & Indian PCC would be dated before the new ITA date now!
2. They have mentioned that fee paid will be refunded, is the entire amount refunded or some part of it? And how many days it takes for the refund?
3. I have declared one year as self-employed, but I am not claiming that in any NOC. The work experience is being counted from other employments. Should I submit any documents related to that self-employed period? Because there is no document submission link that comes separately for this as in the case of other jobs.

Thanks in advance!
JPS

Any suggestions on the above please? It’ll be really helpful to plan the next steps.

Thanks

1. For PCCs:
Date the certificate was issued
For the country where you currently live

The police certificate for the country where you currently live:

  • must be issued no more than 6 months before the date you submit your application
  • must not be expired
For any other country
For any other country, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you stayed there for 6 months or more in a row.

Some countries put expiry dates on their police certificates. If you have a police certificate that expired, include it. We’ll accept it if:

  • it was issued after the last time you stayed there for 6 months or more in a row
  • it is not for the country where you currently live
An officer may ask for a new one later on.

2. No idea

3. If you’re not claiming points for self employment, no need to provide documents. Mention it in personal history when you get ITA.

thanks for the reply!

Would appreciate if anyone else could guide on point 2? Because I am planning to create a new application this week itself, so that it goes into the pool again.

For the refund, if your application was marked as incomplete (Before MEP and BIL), then the application fee and RPRF (if paid upfront) will be refunded. If your application is already in process when it got rejected then only the RPRF will be refunded.

I don’t know when you’ll get the refund though.

Thanks for the information :)
I guess they take 2 - 6 weeks for the refund process, as per website.
