Hi Guys
I’m in need of some assistance.
I am looking at possible ways to assist my partners parents to come to Canada but due to their age it is becoming a bit difficult or maybe I simply just don’t know what to look for or where to start.
Both have Degrees in their line of work with additional credentials which I’m not sure if they can claim points for, but I will give the breakdown of everything I know in hope one of you can assist.
Father
Age: 60
Occupation: Town Planner (NOC: 2153) (20+ Years’ Experience)
Work Experience:
Education: Bach Degree in Town and Regional Planning
English: Not tested yet but I can confidently say he will achieve a minimum CLB10
Mother
Age: 53
Work Experience:
Current Occupation: Development Planner (NOC: 2153) (7 Years’ Experience)
Previous Occupation: Journalist (NOC: 5123) (5 Years’ Experience)
Education:
3 Year Diploma in Journalism
Post Grad Diploma in Environmental Management (This degree was previously considered to be a Master of philosophy in Environmental Management MFIL)
Below is the breakdown of the CRS score calculation.
Core/Human capital factors
Spouse factors
Skill transferability factors
Education
Foreign work experience
Certificate of qualification = 0
Subtotal Skill transferability factors = 100
Comprehensive Ranking System formula
Subtotal Core/Human capital + Spouse factors + Skill transferability = 376
Provincial nomination = 0
Job offer = 0
Study in Canada = 0
Sibling in Canada = 0
French-language skills = 0
Subtotal Additional points = 0
Grand total = 376
Is there anyway I can assist them to join us in Canada and be able to work? I have experience in doing the EE (FSW) application but that’s unfortunately it. I’ve read about PNP programs and Work Permits but I don’t think I completely understand the process. We would like for them to come to Canada and be able to look for employment.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance
