Applicants of MiNT program for Sept 2014 intake

All those applicants who applied for the September 2014 intake of MiNT program of University of Alberta could share the status of their applications here.

When did you apply ?
Have you receive any update or a decision ?

I applied in the middle of the March but hasn't heard anything from their side yet.

My documents were received on 24th Feb, 2014 and I received offer of admission in mid March. It took them approximately 30 days to process my application. Shall share the exact dates once I reach home

I didn't send my documents by mail, i only sent the electronic copies and they started my application process.

Nah. This wasn't intentional though, I didn't know beforehand that I would be required to submit one. After creating MiNT application I left the capstone project field blank and started working on it but before I could submit one, they already processed my application!

I am guessing it isn't compulsory.

I can totally understand. I was in the same position but fortunately they accepted and approved my application

I wrote to the admission department of MiNT program before submitting the application and they said the Capstone project is not required but it is recommend, so i didn't submit one.

I am not sure what you are trying to ask but as far as I could understand you need to appear of IELTS first and then apply for MiNT program. There is no fee for pre-screening of your application.

As per the information given here, the last date for International Students is May 1.

Also, there is no such thing as last date for Indians, Australians, etc. If you are not a Canadian (and American in this case) then you are an International Student
